Beta support · Aillio Bullet R1

Aillio Bullet R1, with an AI copilot.

Roastline connects to the Bullet over native USB, reads BT, ET, and RoR live, and layers AI guidance on top — forward projection, cup prediction, defect flags, and hands-free autopilot. Bullet support is currently in beta.

What it adds

The Bullet already records every roast. Roastline reads where it's going.

The Aillio Bullet R1 is an excellent 1 kg drum with solid data output. Roastline adds the intelligence that acts on that data in real time.

Live curve projection

Roastline draws a forward projection on the Bullet's live BT and RoR — where the curve is heading if you hold current drum speed, fan, and power. See a Maillard stall two minutes before it lands and correct it early.

Pre-drop cup prediction

Before you pull the trigger, get a predicted SCA score, acidity, body, sweetness, and balance — plus flags for baked, underdeveloped, or scorched profiles. Dial in a new lot on the Bullet faster than ever.

Autopilot

Lock in a profile you trust and let Roastline run it hands-free on the Bullet — same development ratio, same drop timing, batch after batch. Override any time; you stay in control.

Connection details

How Roastline connects to the Bullet.

CONNECTION

Native USB

Plug the Bullet into your laptop or roastery machine over USB. No third-party bridge required.

TELEMETRY

Full BT / ET / RoR

Bean temperature, environmental temperature, and rate of rise — all read live at the Bullet's native reporting cadence.

AUTOPILOT

Yes

Roastline can issue power, fan, and drum speed commands to the Bullet to execute a locked-in profile hands-free.

STATUS

In beta

Aillio Bullet R1 support is actively tested with Founding Roasters. Join early access to get access as the driver stabilises.

Roastline runs on macOS, Windows, and Linux — so it works with your existing roastery setup regardless of platform. The AI engine can run locally on the same machine you use on the roastery floor, with no internet dependency during a roast.

Once you're connected, the same AI roast profiling engine that runs on all supported machines is available: live projection, cup prediction, quality-weighted learning, and post-roast reports. The Bullet just becomes the data source.

What "in beta" means

Honest about where Aillio support stands.

Roastline's Aillio Bullet R1 driver is in active beta. That means:

  • The USB connection and full BT/ET/RoR telemetry are working and stable for our current beta testers.
  • Autopilot command output is functional, and we're hardening it across the range of Bullet firmware versions in active use.
  • You'll get direct access to the team if you run into a firmware-specific edge case — beta testers shape the driver.
  • The Bullet driver will move to fully supported as beta testing completes. No extra charge; your access carries forward.

If you're running an Aillio Bullet R1 and want to start roasting with AI guidance now, join early access and let us know your firmware version. We'll get you set up.

Also in beta or coming soon: Kaleido Sniper M-series, Ikawa Pro V3, Probat eCONE, Diedrich IR-series and more.
